Original Elephant Dung Paper (EDP), recycled by elephants at the Lampang Elephant Conservation Center, are one-of-a-kind, unique handmade paper products. They are turned into beautiful, safe creations by workers at Lampang, Thailand. These products are made at the Lampang camp and can only be found in North America at this site. Our paper makes great gifts and is 100% bacteria free, 100% odor free, 100% recycled, & 100% handmade - with the exception of some help from the elephants. 100% Elephant Dung Paper. Four different sizes of Envelopes: Top; #EDPPE "10 Plain Envelopes" made from pure elephant dung paper in beige. Size is standard 3 5/8 x 6 1/2 inches or 9.2 x 16.5 cm. (These are also identified as a number 6 3/4 by envelope makers.) Most common size used in the U.S.
2nd from Top; #EDPLE "10 Legal Envelopes" made from 100% elephant dung paper in beige. Size is 4 1/8 x 9 1/2 inches or 10.5 x 24 cm.
Bottom; #EDPIE "10 Invitation Envelopes" made in beige of 100% elephant dung paper. Perfect for sending out invitations of any kind. Style is defined as a number 5 1/2 at 4 3/8 x 5 3/4 inches or 11 x 14.7 cm.
Envelopes are all natural and have no adhesive on the flaps. We suggest that you make your own glue from our directions on this site or from your own recipe. Another possibility is to buy your own double sided tape or use white glue or a glue stick. If you would like us to send some double sided tape for 10 envelopes order below. |

Products on this page will vary on the selection of color and styles. All products are made in a "Home-based" business type arrangement in Northern Thailand and availability or colors and materials sometimes affects the final product. We try to keep our pictures close to what we have on-hand.

A percentage of profits from the manufacturer of EDP goes straight back into elephant conservation. Low income families design and make our products providing many jobs. Rainbow Gifts-USA donates part of its proceeds from Elephant Dung Paper and Elephant Art to the children of the Lampang Elephant Conservation Center. The purpose of this donation is to raise enough money to allow a student to participate in a Youth For Understanding Student Exchange to the USA. When enough money is raised the head of YFU Thailand will help select a student from qualified children. This art scholarship fund was started in June 2008. Go to our elephant art page.
